I came up with the idea of cutting a bacon chicken when I needed an id for a potluck. I had a chicken in the fridge that I was going to use for Parisian chicken nuggets, so I made it instead and got it done in less than an hour. The key is the luster of honey, mustard, and garlic.
Although I have prepared this recipe as an appetite, we like them so much that I have made them for eating many times. We like to eat fungal food sometimes, so it’s fun to combine it with raw veggie squash.
So, very tasty
Bacon chicken bites with honey mustard glaze
These bacon chicken bites are really easy. First, I cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces. (Okay, two or three bites.)
Then I wrapped each piece in a third of a piece of bacon. I realized that as long as the bacon tips were on the underside of the chicken, I didn’t need to protect them from the top of the teeth. If you plan to transport or store them, use a toothpick to secure.
Lastly, I glazed the bacon chicken pieces before cooking. Kids love to help with this.
Note: If you like your cuts a bit crispy, I suggest putting a liquid under the baking sheet a few minutes before cooking.
Other grain-free appetizers
When we are invited to a potluck, it can often be difficult to find grain-free, milk-free, healthy options. These bacon chicken bites are my solution. I make a platform to bring and that way we can always have something to eat.
They also believe in the consent of the crowd. I haven’t found many people who don’t like these sever appetizers. So make sure you earn enough, or maybe you don’t get anything!
Here are some more grain-free, hunger-free ideas I want to make.
In the meantime, try these protein-rich bacon chicken bites!
