Need a delicious summer treat without the extra sugar and preservatives? Make this real fruit a smooth syrup. This is a simpler recipe than my strawberry coconut milk ice cream. I use coconut milk and fresh fruit to make a cool syrup that tastes like fruit smoothies.

What is Fruit Smoothie Syrup?

Well, these are really the same ingredients I use to make fruit smooth, but frozen. It is ideal for hot summer days and tastes like a special treat to my children. I use whatever fruit is in season and add a banana for a softer and softer texture (don’t worry if you’re against bananas like me; you can’t see the taste).

I have tried many different fruit combinations for this syrup and they are all delicious. I’ve added strawberry mango, peach raspberry (strain it), and even a little bit of lime once or twice.

To freeze it, instruct the prescription to mix in several places during the freezing process. You can also use an ice cream maker. We have it and it works really well for this recipe or any homemade ice cream recipe.

Hint: Make sure your mixture cools well before putting it in the ice cream maker. I even kept it in the freezer for a while to really cool down.

He also enjoys making science lessons and experimenting with tin cans. This method can be effective if you start with frozen fruit.

Fruit Smoothie Syrup

Delicious homemade peach syrup recipe with natural peach, banana, and coconut milk

Ingredients

  • 2 Cup Seasonal fruit (Fresh or frozen)
  • 1 banana (For smooth texture, optional)
  • 1 Cup Coconut milk (Or fresh fruit juice)

Instructions

  • In a large blender or food processor, combine all ingredients.

  • Blend high for 1-2 minutes until completely smooth. It should still be a thick net.

  • Put in a freezer safe container and freeze for 1-2 hours.

  • Remove from the freezer and mix again or puree with a hand blender to get a smooth consistency.

  • Return to the freezer for 1-2 hours until soft.

Note

Feel free to mix fruits and mix to suit your family’s tastes. If you have a strong enough blender to handle it, starting with frozen fruit will speed up the process. For an even quicker way, put the fruit in a gallon-sized ziplock bag and keep it in a plastic or metal container with a lid. Place the bag around with ice, on the lid of the bucket, and shake or roll for about 20-30 minutes (great for kids). This will make it a thicker and smoother syrup faster.
