Astaxan is my summer go-to supplement, and is often called the strongest antioxidant in nature. It is a naturally occurring carotenoid found in foods such as salmon and curls.

There are many research reasons to take this supplement, but I take it for one notable benefit: sun protection.

My results are dire. Before I finished, I could only burn for 15 minutes in the sun. Now, I can handle moderate (and healthy) sun exposure without burning anything.

I guess you could say I eat my sunscreen!

What is Astaxanthin?

Astacanthin (pronounced Scythian thin) is a naturally occurring carotenoid found in seafood and marine life, such as crustaceans and microalgae. According to the Lens Polling Institute, carotenoids are a class of more than 750 richly colored molecules synthesized by plants, algae and photosynthetic bacteria.

Carotenoids are responsible for the bright colors of plants and vegetables. Although you probably know that beta-carotene is orange, Astaxan is responsible for the reds that appear in flamingos, salmon (especially sakai salmon) and curls. The interesting fact is, it is a high oxygen content that gives the salmon trapped in the forest a lighter color than their fields.

Astacanthin is one of the most potent carotenoids. It is developed as a protector in nature by the effects of losing its nutrient supply and surviving. This explains why it is so abundant in salmon. They need to be able to swim downstream!

In addition, astaxanthin is an incredibly powerful antioxidant. While other types of antioxidants can be pro-oxidant, or harmful, during the digestion process, Stuxentin maintains a wide range of its health benefits.

Although I use astrocyanthin primarily for its protective effects against the sun, this super antioxidant has many wonderful benefits.

Here are five important ways to take advantage of your immune system and other physical functions:

Fighting pain and inflammation

If you think vitamin C is a potent antioxidant, consider this: Astaxanthin is shown to be up to 6,000 times as powerful! All antioxidants can fight against free radicals to help reduce inflammation, but estoxanthin offers many unique features that make it especially beneficial.

First, it has the unique ability to cross the blood-brain barrier. Animal studies suggest that it can help reduce neuroinflammation and may be a protective measure against some brain injuries. It can also be helpful for people with Alzheimer’s disease or other cognitive disorders.

Taking this dietary supplement can also improve the health of your eyes. Ast can also cross the retina barrier of blood to reduce the inflammation in the eyes directly.

Astacanthin can also relieve the pain of common inflammation, especially for things like carpal tunnel syndrome and rheumatoid arthritis. It is known for comfortable muscle aches and sports injuries. Very good

Protects from sun damage

One of the main reasons I started taking Xanthan is its sunshine benefits. It works by reducing the UVA damage to the skin cells from the inside. I am naturally invisible, and this supplement allows me to get a healthy exposure to the sun without burning or getting things right.

Astacanthin’s unique protective properties of the sun come from the algae Hematococcus pavilionis, which produces this color as heat and sun protection to protect yourself when water is lost. Similarly, Astacanthin acts as an indoor sunscreen for humans and gives the skin a subtle, natural reddish-brown pigmentation while protecting it from DNA damage.

Burning the sun means your body is suffering from some kind of inflammation. If there are other sources of inflammation in the body, your skin is more likely to burn. My lab results have shown that since I regularly take astaxanthin and eat an anti-inflammatory diet, I have lower levels of inflammation and am more easily tan without burning.

How do I use it?

I consider eating stuxanthane more than the supplement, and I try to eat it as part of a healthy diet. I love seafood, so there is no problem! Wildcat Salmon is a regular part of our diet, and we get our food here.

That being said, getting large quantities of food will be very difficult. Using high levels of seafood is also a concern for mercury.

I have been using this supplement daily for many years, especially during the hot months when the sun is strongest. I usually take 12 mg of staxanthin daily, usually in the morning and with meals that contain fat, such as my healthy coffee or tea.

For the best results summer, prepare your system and start enjoying it well before the summer ready to enjoy the sun safely!

Astaxanthin supplementation is probably safe. Side effects can include abdominal pain if you take high doses. You may also need to travel to the bathroom more often, and don’t have to worry if your stools are red.

Since there are not enough studies to prove that it is safe, it is best to avoid supplementation with oxytocin if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Bottom line

Astacanthin is a powerful antioxidant that can help to improve your skin, benefit your heart and brain, and protect your skin from aging and sun damage.

I personally found this helpful for me, but I’m not a doctor and can’t tell you what works for you. As with any other changes in your diet, consult your healthcare professional before starting astaxanthin supplementation.

Of course, adding a little extra salmon or curls to your diet can be beneficial!
